关于我们
Sky High for Kids’ vision is to help end Childhood Cancer. Sky High is funding revolutionary research projects that will not only advance treatment worldwide but also move the survival rate needle forward. Between supporting the first immunotherapy center dedicated to pediatric oncology in the U.S., to funding sub-Saharan doctors and health providers to train in pediatric oncology specifically to combat the abysmal survival rates in that region, to helping fund the largest research facility for Pediatric Cancer research in the world, Sky High for Kids is vetting and supporting projects that will have the largest impact on Childhood Cancer. In addition, Sky High also has a number of programs that provide comfort to children undergoing cancer treatment. This includes the Adventures Program that takes families on an outdoor adventures, Tie for Sky High Program which provides blankets to patients, Patient Carnivals Program which serve as a little distraction from treatment and a moment for kids to be kids as well as the Ponytail Donations Program to provide hair donations and, ultimately, wigs for children. They also support comfort projects at various facilities that includes providing wish list items, electricity, a power outage solution, daily warm breakfast and more to families so they may focus on their child’s treatment. Since 2007, the organization has donated over $20 million to benefit Childhood Cancer patients and research. Learn more at skyhighforkids.org.

Today we celebrated International Women’s Day! ?? We had an amazing guest speaker Brittany Franklin, CEO and Founder of Sky High for Kids. She started off with getting to know our employees and learned how diverse our company is. But most importantly she shared her story from growing up to starting her own nonprofit organization, Sky High for Kids. Her passion to help support families with children battling cancer is inspiring. Thank you Brittany for sharing your story with us today. I also want to give a big shoutout to Madeline Veliz for putting this event together for the women of Axens. We ended the day with making flower arrangements with Breen's Florist. We learned the art of creating a beautiful and harmonious arrangements. #WomensMonth #InternationalWomensDay

On February 26, employees from our Houston office volunteered at The Ronald McDonald House Charities Greater Houston alongside Sky High for Kids. To kick off Houston’s rodeo season, we hosted a “Saddle Up for Smiles” themed evening, bringing joy to the families with fun crafts and a barbecue dinner. That night, we served more than 75 individuals, sharing good food and warm company. Before the event Buckeye team members also had the opportunity to tour the house, which provides a welcoming space for families receiving care at Houston’s Medical Center. With 70 rooms, community kitchens, game rooms, outdoor areas, the house offers comfort and support to those who need it most.? Thank you to the Sky High team for coordinating! We are grateful for the chance to give back and create a special evening for these families.?

Ok, LinkedIn friends, let’s see what you’ve got!! Please share this and help spread the message. We need prayers and we need them loud and strong! I want y’all to meet my friend, Crosslyn! This young lady made such an impact on me the first time I met her, I can’t even explain it. She is just one of those people you immediately know you are going to love! Crosslyn Mooney is an 11 year old young lady from Welch, Ok. She is the daughter of Brian and B.J. Mooney. In August, Crosslyn was diagnosed with ATRT which is a form of brain cancer. If you know Crosslyn then you know she is a cowgirl, and now we have watched her transform from a rodeo contestant to a warrior battling her cancer. She has no quit in her and is a fighter in the truest sense of the word. But as humans, our fight is not worth much without faith. So, let’s put our faith to action and pull together in prayer for this beautiful young lady and help her out when she truly needs it most. The family has been at St. Jude’s since August and the financial toll all of this has taken on them is immense. Please help however you can! https://gofund.me/38b3a983 #cancersucks #cancersurvivor #neverquit Caddo Oilfield Construction, LLC Chad Boyd Taylor Taylor Ben Curry Keith Stelter Sky High for Kids Blake Reed Lyndi Reed BWS Inspection Services LLC Heroes for Children Rick Kervin Jeff Kennedy Miranda Kennedy Shale Energy Resources Oilfield Helping Hands

?? CANCER WARRIOR SPOTLIGHT: CHRISTIAN ?? Christian is a sweet, friendly, 6-year-old with a huge heart and a love for math, but his story goes far beyond numbers. At just 2 years old, he was diagnosed with Stage 4 Burkitt’s Lymphoma, a cancer that turned his world—and his family’s—upside down. What followed was 7 months of intense treatments, seemingly endless hospital stays, and unimaginable struggles. But Christian? He never stopped smiling. ?? Now 3.5 years into remission, he continues to amaze everyone around him, proving that strength comes in the smallest packages. ??? ?? One of the best parts of my job is the opportunity to support local organizations making a real difference. Through our Give Back, Build Hope campaign at Cross Creek Ranch and Cross Creek West, I’m so proud to help donate $15,000 to three incredible charities: Fort Bend PAWS Vincent M Morales Jr – Giving pets a second chance through funding for heartworm treatment, spay/neuter events, and more. Reining Strength Therapeutic Horsemanship – Changing lives through equine-assisted services for children and adults with special needs. Sky High for Kids – Fighting pediatric cancer through research, hospital funding, and global initiatives. For every home sold in November and December, we made a donation—and I’m thrilled that we were able to round up to $5,000 per charity! That brings our five-year total to $114,000 donated to local nonprofits. But beyond the numbers, what really matters to me is the chance to connect with these organizations and see firsthand the impact they make. Their passion, dedication, and heart inspire me every day.
