Regular maintenance, including major correctives, are critical to extending their lifespan and ensuring peak performance. Major component exchanges (MCE) play a pivotal role in keeping turbines functional and minimizing downtime. These exchanges involve the replacement of critical components like gearboxes, blades, and generators—essential work that requires specialized skills, safety protocols, and advanced equipment. Sky Climber Renewables’ MCE division is off and running in 2024. Here’s a glimpse at our teams safely and efficiently performing blade exchanges at a major project in Southwestern Texas.
