SKS Studio is a full-service master planning and landscape architecture firm, which specializes in large-scale mixed-use and hospitality related projects. Since 1997, Sean Simms has participated in projects in more than 30 countries and has been responsible for executing projects totaling more than $2 billion in construction. Our focus is to design through the development of experiences. To achieve this, we continually strive to create fully immersive environments that capture the imagination of the user. We believe that to understand our client’s vision and to be able to execute that vision is at the core of our design principals. By understanding how our designs can benefit from their surroundings, enhance the environment, and respond to economic reality, we can create places that continually improve over time – this is our definition of “sustainability”. We embrace the collaborative design process. We feel that by working with other talented professionals and allowing each to contribute to his fullest ability we are able to harness a greater creative power. SKS Studio provides continual design leadership from the initial Design Charrette through all levels of project design and execution. It is this leadership and understanding of the collaborative design process that truly sets us apart from others.

We’re thrilled to share that two of our Cypriot resorts – Amara and Anassa – have been named among the best resorts in the world in Condé Nast's 2024 Readers' Choice Awards! It's such an honour to be recognized by the guest, who are at the very heart of the hospitality design world. ? Both destinations draw inspiration from the locale and create a timeless connection between land and sea. Located near the historic #Greek settlement of Amathus, the Amara is designed as a series of indoor and outdoor experiences, which draw the natural world into a tightly designed plan. The resort is contemporary whilst in keeping with the spirit of the surroundings, focusing on maximizing views and showcasing the environment. The Anassa Hotel cascades down the Paphos hillside like flowing golden Champagne, a mirage of effortlessly chic, traditional white buildings with blue shutters and terracotta roofs, manicured gardens and gently swaying trees, infinity pools, lush lawns, and cappuccino-shade sands. ? We are incredibly proud that two Kerzner resorts have been named in the global ranking of The World’s 50 Best Hotels. Atlantis The Royal ranked number 9, and achieved the Highest Climber Award after jumping 35 spots and into the top 10. One&Only Mandarina ranked number 29, one of only four resorts in Mexico to feature on the list. Both resorts were recognised in the inaugural list last year, and have maintained their exceptional standards, extraordinary service and one-of-a-kind guest experience to retain their spot as part of this prestigious group.
