Did you know that 56% of 3rd grade students in Georgia cannot read proficiently? Did you know that low literacy scores are a predetermining factor for high school dropout rates? We love that through this partnership with Carter's we can promote early reading for our youth by sharing stories that they can see themselves in. Some of these books included: I Am Enough by Grace Byers, Black Boy Joy by Kwame Mbalia, and Future Hero by Remi Blackwood. Each of these featuring strong and inspiring Black protagonists to help empower our students to see themselves as the main character. #BeingPresent Matters #AllinforKids #Carters #CISAtlanta

With mentorship from the VP of Design and a deep dive into his garment design portfolio with the Director of Graphic Art, Nico got a behind-the-scenes look at how guidance and expertise can shape a young professional’s growth.
