How do you get the most out of a 10-minute buyer meeting? Here is a tip from Chithra Kannan, Founder of Skin Centrick, who has developed a formula that has landed her several deals from her ECRM meetings after just launching her brand last year! Her formula is simple: ?- 30 seconds setting the stage ?- 2 minutes pitching her brand in terms of the buyer's needs and objectives (based on the information ECRM provides on its prep site as well as her own research). ?- 2 minutes of the buyer elaborating on his or her needs based on the pitch. ?- 5 minutes of discussion and next steps Chithra started off as a RangeMe Live participant at ECRM's Indie Brands - Beauty and Personal Care Session the month she launched the company, and her three meetings were so successful that she participated in several more Sessions, and will be at ECRM's Everyday and Holiday Cosmetics, Skin, Fragrance & Bath Session this coming January.
