We opened the 21st Annual Skin of Color Society with our first-ever Medical Student Breakfast, where big news and valuable insights were shared with a room filled with medical students interested in pursuing dermatology. Big news: We are thrilled to announce the Dermatologists of Tomorrow Scholarship, presented by?Clinique?and the Skin of Color Society Foundation, a multi-year scholarship program. This year's program will award scholarships to 30 medical students who identify as underrepresented in medicine, providing financial assistance and mentorship to develop future leaders in dermatology. Huge gratitude to Clinique for their dedicated collaboration and generous support of this major initiative to help aspiring trainees along their journey into dermatology. We were delighted to have the team from Clinique with us for this momentous scholarship program launch. KEY INSIGHTS: During the program, an outstanding panel of SOCS experts shared their insights and wisdom with the medical student audience on "Strengthening Your Application to Dermatology Residency."
