Students will learn to maintain and repair chairlifts, in a hands-on setting with a focus on lift electrical and electronic components. There will be beginner, intermediate, and advanced sessions. Jessyca Keeler of Ski New Hampshire was awarded the Sustainable Business Advocate Award by NH Travel Council president Rebecca Metcalf (left) and member Charyl Reardon (right) during the Council's 50th Anniversary Luncheon in Lakeport. Reardon praised Keeler's "unwavering commitment to sustainability and preserving our natural environment," noting her impactful work in encouraging the development of an electric vehicle (EV) charging network across the state. In her acceptance speech, Keeler called for continued collaboration and support for aggressive climate and sustainability-related policies at both local and federal levels. Though this season started off slowly, Mother Nature is not letting it end without a bang. With up to two feet falling at the end of March, and an estimated 12-18 inches more snow expected overnight and throughout the day tomorrow at many ski areas, spring skiing has turned out to be pretty awesome.
