My ETCE 1222 Construction Materials class had an outstanding guest lecture this week on design and construction of concrete structures to promote durability, prevent corrosion, and extend service life from David Tepke, P.E. of SKA Consulting Engineers, Inc. Students were also introduced to careers in the investigative engineering and repair design/construction fields. Some great early career advice was provided as well. Many thanks, Dave!

Productive start to the week in Houston at an AMPP: Association for Materials Protection and Performance standards setting workshop for the Cathodic Protection Technologist (CP3) certification exams. It was great to meet, interact with, and learn from panel members.
