San Jose State University Design Build Fly (SJSU DBF) is a student-run project team based in San Jose, California at the Aerospace Engineering Department of San Jose State University. The team focuses on design, fabrication, and flight testing of custom-built radio-controlled aircraft for competitions such as the American Institute of Aeronautics and Astronautics (AIAA) DBF and SAE International Aero Design. Our team is comprised of subteams specializing in Aerodynamics and Controls, Mechanical and Structures, and Business, emphasizing teamwork and hands-on experience in building remote-controlled aircraft. We are dedicated to shaping the future of aerospace in the heart of Silicon Valley, providing great opportunities for innovation and collaboration in the aerospace field.
