#Caltrans and the San Joaquin Joint Powers Authority (#SJJPA) have secured $54.5 million in federal grant funding through the MEGA initiative to support the Madera High-Speed Rail Station, a key component of California's High-Speed Rail system. This funding will help relocate the future Madera Amtrak Station into a modern hub that improves connectivity for Madera County and Northern Fresno County and Merced-Bakersfield Early Operating Segment. Investment in Infrastructure:?The grant will fund critical upgrades, including new platforms, trackwork, a bus depot, expanded parking, multi-use path, and more. Economic Impact:?This project will stimulate economic growth while supporting sustainable transportation initiatives to reduce emissions.
