Lisa Petrozzello, Jeff Weisback, Ronnie and Nancy had an incredible day visiting nine of our partners doing amazing work in Atlantic County. Grants were awarded to - South Jersey Cultural Alliance, The Arc of Atlantic County, Community FoodBank of New Jersey, Big Brothers Big Sisters of Atlantic & Cape May Counties, Court Appointed Special Advocates (CASA) for Children of Atlantic, Cape May, and Camden Counties, Jewish Family Service of Atlantic & Cape May Counties, MudGirls Studios a NJ Nonprofit Corporation, AtlantiCare, and AVANZAR.

We are incredibly grateful to the OceanFirst Foundation for their generous award of $4,000 in General Operating Funds. This support will assist with furthering our mission here at SJCA.

The Mid Atlantic Arts Cultural Sustainability: Community Roots program is now accepting applications! Mid Atlantic Arts' Cultural Sustainability: Community Roots program is accepting applications! Cultural Sustainability: Community Roots is a new grant program offered by the six U.S. Regional Arts Organizations (RAOs) in partnership with The Wallace Foundation, providing unrestricted operational funding to arts organizations founded by, with, and for communities of color. The program provides general operating support to arts and culture organizations serving Black, Indigenous, and communities of color with budgets under $500,000 and at least three years of programming. Mid Atlantic Arts will select up to 20 grantees from the ten states and territories we serve (DC, DE, MD, NJ, NY, PA, PR, USVI, VA, and WV). The Cultural Sustainability: Community Roots program provides a space for connection, knowledge sharing and network building with other changemakers in the region. Grantees will join a powerful cohort of organizations dedicated to preserving and celebrating the cultural legacies of their communities.
