Why not put in the best work now so you can get to the best possible outcome later? ? It sounds so simple, but so many people, businesses, and teams just don't do it.? ? Worse, many teams think they’re prepared when they aren't. They might seem confident on the surface, but they haven’t put in the work, solicited the input, narrowed down what really matters, debated those reasoned opinions, and “played tennis” with those questions among their team. ? It takes time and effort, but you have to seek out and understand different perspectives and methods in advance to get to the best possible judgments. ? After more than 9 million people tuned in to watch the U.S. Women’s National Team take home gold in soccer at the 2024 Summer Olympics in Paris, we at Sixth Street are reminded once again how monumental the past year has been for women’s sports. Sixth Street has entered into a $500 million strategic financing agreement with Arrowhead Pharmaceuticals to fund innovation and growth opportunities across the company’s robust and diverse pipeline of RNAi therapeutics. This transaction is the latest made by Sixth Street’s Healthcare and Life Sciences platform, which partners with management teams and provides strategic capital to companies creating new technologies to address our most pressing healthcare challenges and improve patient care.
