Congratulations to Lincoln Fletcher, who earned the coveted Golden Guard award, awarded by Ellis and Associates, the first ever Golden Guard award at Hurricane Harbor Atlanta! Lincoln joined our team lifeguard in 2023, and during his first year, he was promoted to a lead position also received the Team Six Superstar award. Lincoln embarked on his lifeguarding journey at the age of 16, driven by his passion to help and protect his family and others who struggled with swimming. Thank you to our friends at American Coaster Enthusiasts for inviting us to join in on the World's Largest Coaster Ride, a simultaneous dispatch of coasters to celebrate the anniversary of LaMarcus Thompson's Switchback Railway, the first modern roller coaster, which opened on June 16, 1884. ?? On Sunday, we joined 19 other parks across the US to dispatch a coaster train right at 2:00PM EDT. We chose Georgia Scorcher, which is also celebrating its 25th birthday this year! #sixflagsovergeorgia #sixflags #georgiascorcher #coasterenthusiasts

Our General Manager, Greg Fuller, was thrilled to be a part of the groundbreaking of the new Tunnel to Towers Foundation Veteran housing facility, located right down the road from Six Flags Over Georgia.
