Priscilla Barolo, the Head of Marketing & Communications at our client Neat was just on B2B Marketing Podcast with Dave Gerhardt. While we're used to setting up these kinds of interviews, it was such a fun surprise to hear a shoutout for Six Eastern during their discussion around what to look for in a PR agency. Her advice: - boutique is usually preferable - it's not going to work in your favor if you're one of your agencies smallest clients. - meet the team you're actually working with when interviewing agencies, the most impressive folks shouldn't only show face once a quarter in QBRs. - don't be drawn in by big (expensive) ideas - a $30K research report probably isn't realistic if you're a startup. Great advice. Our team loves working with our clients that have a deep and nuanced understanding of comms, like Priscilla.

Nothing like seeing a Six Eastern client absolutely nail it on stage at Fast Company's Innovation Festival— and on the event's 10th anniversary, no less! ?? Transcend Field Chief Privacy Officer Ron De Jesus joined Raffi Krikorian of Emerson Collective, Wendi Whitmore of Palo Alto Networks and Jessica Bursztynsky of Fast Co. for a panel on #AI regulation and safety. Needless to say: it's a very hot topic. It was a packed house, and quite a few people were furiously scribbling down notes, especially with California Gov. Gavin Newsom still deliberating over SB 1047. ?? Nobody can truly say what the future holds for AI regulation, but it's impossible to argue that practicing transparency, fairness and good data governance to prepare for future oversight isn't a smart move. Proud to help bring the perspective of data privacy professionals to the forefront of the AI safety conversation. They've been in the game longer than anyone!
