SCS is hiring a Communications Director! Are you passionate about the lands, waters, and communities of Southeast Alaska? Are you motivated to use your communications, storytelling, and creative skills to protect the Tongass National Forest and support the development of sustainable communities across the region? The Sitka Conservation Society is hiring a Communications Director! This position is responsible for creating and managing of SCS’s communications strategy across our platforms, as well as leading digital advocacy efforts to connect a wide range of Alaskans and Americans to decision makers and create political change. This is a great opportunity to make an impact on a local to regional to national level to protect our public lands, support thriving communities within Southeast Alaska, and uplift the voices and values of the people who live here and depend upon this place.
