🌎 Earth Day Giveaway! 🪴 We’re planting seeds of connection, care, and community a little differently this year. While we’re pressing pause on our in-person Baden Earth Day event this year, our commitment to caring for Creation and for one another continues! Since Earth Day is an invitation to live with intention, we’re excited to be giving away 10 FREE copies of The Serviceberry: An Economy of Abundance by Indigenous scientist, author, and professor Robin Wall Kimmerer. This insightful, poetic book explores how we can each nurture a more reciprocal, relational way of living. As our recent Serviceberry book club discovered, it emphasizes the rich wealth that lies in relationships between people, the land, and all living things. What does it mean to build a life rooted in radical generosity, belonging, and care? ✨ Here’s the ripple effect we hope to start: If you win a copy, read it with an open heart. Let it shift your perspective. Then, when you're done, pass it on to someone you care about. Encourage them to do the same! Enter to win on social media by April 29: 🌱 Like this post 🌱 Share in the comments what reciprocity means to you To ensure inclusivity of our friends who do not use social media, you may also enter on our website!
关于我们
The Sisters of St. Joseph of Baden, commit ourselves, our energies and our resources to the mission of unity – to achieve unity of ourselves with God and with each other, to achieve unity of neighbor with neighbor and neighbor with God. We believe that God is alive in our world, in the people who work with us, the people who join us in prayer and celebration, and the people we serve. We are constantly enriched by the lives of those with whom we come into contact. We are filled with hope for the future, and we are challenged by the critical needs of our neighbors here and around the world.

We're grateful our new friend has found a safe place to nest. Her presence causes us to ask: How can each of us be that safe place for the people in our lives who are bracing against the winds of hardship? What can we do, through our prayers, support, and actions to nurture others toward healing and hope?

Come grow fresh food for your family and others in our Community Garden this season! Our gardens serve as a vibrant space where volunteers, neighbors, and Sisters come together to nurture the land, celebrate and share its gifts, and cultivate a deeper appreciation for the interconnectedness of all creation. If you're someone who doesn't have a lot of growing space at home or who simply wants to be part of a friendly community of gardeners, we would love to welcome you this season! There is no cost to tend a bed, and we can help you get started if you're new to gardening! A portion of each gardener's harvest is donated to local food programs and pantries, directly supporting our neighbors in need. Spaces are limited, so please apply soon if you're interested: https://lnkd.in/ghtnnGtS.
