Reimagining Leadership is now accepting applications for the spring cohort that starts March 26! ?? Here’s the quick scoop - ? What it is: Sister Seasons' 4-month virtual small group program focused on skill-building, self-discovery and community to help you re-envision leadership, starting with your own (Limited to 10 spots) ? Who it’s for: Experienced women + non-binary individuals committed to creating systems change through their work or activism who want to look to nature as their guide to feeling inspired and hopeful about leadership again–including their own. Past participants range from mid-career professionals to seasoned leaders. ? When: March 26-June 25, 2025 ? The results: Renew your curiosity and creativity about what’s possible, explore alternative ways of leading, get clearer about how you want to lead, receive essential skills and tools for leading on a changing planet, and build meaningful relationships with thoughtful + wise peers, nature and yourself ?? The (longer) why: Reimagining Leadership was created for these times when it’s clear we need to redefine leadership. There’s been one type of leadership modeled for us, yet it’s never felt right to a lot of us–and it’s been harmful too. You’re not alone if you’re asking questions about what else is possible, how to be yourself as a leader, how to more effectively bring about the change you envision, or how leadership might feel GOOD, so you don’t feel like you’re giving up everything to make an impact. (That last one is huge!) These are critical questions we rarely have space or support to explore in our daily lives. So if this spring, you’d love a small thoughtful circle of wise peers, highly curated resources + tools to inspire and support you, and delightful invitations to connect to nature + yourself so you can find some answers, this program is for you. There’s *so much* more to share. To learn more, head to the comments below for the link to the program page. If you apply by March 11, you’ll receive $100 off! ?? Friends + colleagues, can you help me spread the word? I’d love to make sure this program reaches women + non-binary folks in social impact, sustainability, climate and beyond who are passionate about making a positive impact but might be increasingly turned off by what leadership seems to require. I’d be so grateful if you could share the program! #regenerativeleadership #feministleadership #feminineleadership #womeninsustainability #womeninclimate #womeninsocialimpact #climate #sustainability #socialimpact #professionaldevelopment

Sister Seasons' offerings have changed A LOT this past year, and I'd love to share how to work with me in 2025—if you'd like support or to spread the word. ?? ?? Back in 2020, Sister Seasons focused on menstrual cycle education with a nature + climate lens. ?? Today: Sister Seasons helps changemakers of all genders become thriving, regenerative leaders by working with nature's cycles—from the seasons to their bodies' cycles. Same mission, way more focused on what changemakers need in these turbulent times and where this work can make the biggest impact. For organizations + private groups, I offer: ? Skill-building workshops + training series for people of all genders to learn from nature’s cycles how to manage their energy, embody regeneration in the way they work, and cultivate leadership skills that create change effectively + sustainably ? Customizable nature-inspired leadership development program for women + gender non-conforming individuals that's proven to inspire + strengthen their leadership ? 1:1 Leadership + Energy Management Advising for impact-focused leaders using nature’s cycles as our guide ? Facilitation Services + custom experience design with my inclusive, mindful and nature-centered approach and my 20+ years experience in creating meaningful gatherings (Reach out for your next team retreat!) These are an especially great fit for mission-driven organizations and impact teams at orgs of all kinds. And yes, we can include menstrual cycles in any of the above if it's a fit for your group. For women + nonbinary changemakers, I also offer: ? Seasonal public workshops on cycle-based energy management (Join the newsletter to stay in the loop) ? Reimagining Leadership, a 4-month small group program to re-envision your impact leadership (Applications for the next cohort open March 5!) ? 1:1 Leadership + Energy Management Advising for hands-on support in working with cycles for greater impact + personal sustainability? ? A fun surprise on its way later this year ?? If you're curious about working together, let's chat! My 2025 organizational bookings are open, and I've got space for 1:1 individual clients too. If you'd like to help me spread the word, I'd be so grateful. The majority of Sister Seasons' clients come through personal relationships and referrals, and so your support makes a huge difference! ?? The other exciting news is now that Sister Seasons has a clear path + stronger foundation, I'm re-opening to part-time and contract opportunities that are impact-focused and embedded in a team (I miss collaboration!). I'm particularly interested in facilitation, experience design and teaching opportunities, but open to conversations if my experience + spidey sense for connecting dots would be helpful to you. 2025 is going to be a wild ride, but I'm so grateful my work with Sister Seasons is all about resourcing folks to meet the greatest challenges of our time and thrive as we do!

Are you curious about the next cohort of Reimagining Leadership, Sister Seasons’ 4-month program for women + non-binary changemakers? If so, please join me this Wednesday 2/26 at 12pm ET / 9am PT for a free info session. ?? Here’s what to expect: ?? I’ll walk you through the program, answer all your questions, and you’ll get to meet a few other folks who are considering joining. ?? You’ll get added to the waitlist for a generous discount and early access to apply for one of the 10 spots. Applications open 2/27 for the waitlist, 3/5 for everyone else. ?? You’ll receive the replay if you can’t join live. This program is truly a balm and a buoy in these times of great loss of trust in leadership. It’s about coming together with a wise group of peers and asking ourselves, nature + each other about what ELSE is possible for leadership–from the collective level down to our own. Because a lot of us working to create systems change aren’t just questioning the leaders in power. We’re also questioning our own leadership, even when we need folks who deeply care about people + our planet leading more than ever. For you, that might look like: ? Questioning if you want to be a leader based on current or past experiences ? Actively opting out of leadership paths because of what you believe it would require you to do or give up ? Currently in a leadership role but wondering how long you can keep going Through skill-building, self-discovery, community and *so much* help from the natural world (from literally going outside to highly curated resources to widen your perspective), you’ll find hope and inspiration about what’s possible for leadership–including your own. And, just as importantly, you’ll feel resourced to thrive as you more fully embody it. Links to register for the info session + explore the program in the comments below. If you’d like to help me spread the word, please tag a changemaker or a changemaker community who should know about this program. I’d be so grateful for your help! ?? #regenerativeleadership #sustainableleadership #feminineleadership #socialimpact #climate #esg #professionaldevelopment

In moments like these, what gives you hope about the future? Almost 3 weeks ago, Rebecca Magee and I got to host the first-ever Regenerative Futures Summit, and I keep turning to it for inspiration.?? We brought together an incredible interdisciplinary group of feminist change agents, leaders and thinkers to co-create our visions for collective futures that offer some hope in this wild and weird moment ???. Together, we are calling in a future that: ? Accepts what is so that something new can arise ?? Features more joy and compassion ?? Releases individualist self-determinism and leans more into communal rebuilding ?? Allows slower, more intentional living ?? Holds space for gratitude, hope, and inspiration ?? Practices better land stewardship ? Is 100% powered by renewable energy ?? Builds local food systems ?? Deeply values community, collective capacity and values-aligned shared spaces ??♀? Creates more human-to-human connection ?? Nurtures the unique seeds of hope we each contain ?? Implements nature-based solutions as the norm ?? Seeks solutions from the rainforest ?? Respects all ways of being on the planet ?? Supports us in resting as deeply as we work (and reaps the benefits, change and creativity that come from that) ?? Reclaims the matriarchy ?? Sees non-patriarchal influences building tech systems and spaces to be more holistic and inclusive of everyone ????♀? Honors joy amidst great challenges ?? Includes abundant opportunities and roles to help shape it … and in many ways, so many of us are already building it. I am seriously *so grateful* to everyone who said YES to this invitation to gather and dream with us. (And especially to Alexandra Granato-Garcia and Jennifer Au for being such a huge part of the magic of this experience!) Creating the space for this collective futures thinking and ideation can be so so so important for change making, relationship-building and intention-setting. Why?! It grounds us in possibility. Rebecca and I would absolutely *love* to do this again in person (!) later this year with leaders or teams who are craving space and tools to do some big-picture ideation around what’s next… Comment below or send one of us a DM if you’d like to be in the loop or discuss further ??.? And please also let us know: What tiny glimmers are giving you hope that a better future is possible?

I've been waiting for this moment for the last 6 months and I can't believe I finally get to say this ?? The next cohort of Reimagining Leadership starts March 26! And if you're a woman or non-binary changemaker who is ready to re-envision leadership, starting with your own, this program is designed for you ?? This program first ran in 2024 in response to the many conversations I had with women and gender-diverse folks who were committed to making a positive impact on people and the planet, but felt like they were having to sacrifice everything else they cared about to do it. ?? At the heart of these conversations was a common question: what else is possible? It’s a critical question, because we only have to look around to see that… ?? Our world needs more thoughtful, collaborative, committed leaders like us ?? The practices driving us away from leadership aren’t even capable of creating the impact we hope to make–they just recreate systems of harm ?? The skills we need to lead and thrive right now are different than what has helped us succeed at work You don’t have to settle for the status quo. Reimagining Leadership is a 4-month small group program where you’ll connect with nature, yourself and a circle of peers, so that you can reignite your curiosity and optimism about leadership–regardless of your job title. Rather than give you a long list of to-do’s, the program focuses on skill-building, self-discovery and community connection, so you can find greater clarity in your personal expression of leadership and feel more resourced to step into it. Expect meaningful conversations with thoughtful peers, highly curated resource drops, self-guided practices that will nudge you to look within and go outside, and some very delightful surprises. ?? If you’re curious about joining, head to the link in the comments below to sign up for the 2/26 info session. Registrants will automatically get the replay and be added to the waitlist for 1st dibs + a generous discount. And mark your calendar: registration for the 10 spots opens to the waitlist on 2/27 and the public on 3/5! #regenerativeleadership #feminineleadership #socialimpact #sustainability #climate #socialentrepreneurs #esg

Where can we find hope right now? And is the future we're working toward as change agents even possible—or are we delusional for even trying? ?? These are some very understandable questions a lot of us working in social impact, sustainability and climate are asking right now. Back in 2015/16, I started studying both Futures Thinking + Joanna Macy's The Work That Reconnects—two separate but complimentary bodies of work that have provided me with incredibly helpful frameworks for navigating these questions and staying hopeful without bypassing the real challenges we face. This Friday, I'm teaching a workshop as part of the Regenerative Futures Summit that will weave in tools from both, so you too can: ?? Have frameworks for making sense of the present we're in ?? Understand how the future is created (hint: we have more influence than you think) ?? Learn new language + tools to use in your systems change work ?? Connect with an incredibly wise group of fellow feminist change agents to map tangible evidence of where the just, regenerative future we envision is already emerging—a welcome reprieve from the negativity bias our brains spend a lot of time stuck in The workshop will be a great introduction to both The Work That Reconnects and futures thinking if they're new to you. And if you're familiar with one or both, get ready to take your knowledge to the next level. ?? As part of the Summit, you'll also get to experience a beautiful somatic guided practice with Alexandra Granato-Garcia to support you with the big emotions you might be feeling right now, and a refreshing visioning workshop with Lis Best that will give you a steady anchor for the challenges ahead. ?? If you're a feminist change agent—whether that shows up as your job, activism or your heart's calling—join us for the Regenerative Futures Summit THIS FRIDAY from 12-3pm ET / 9-12pm PT. Use code FUTURELOVE for $50 off. ?? If you've been thinking about joining but putting off buying your ticket, this is your sign to grab a ticket and mark your calendar, so you can start your year off resourced, connected and clear. *Link to register in the comments below* P.S. Will you help us spread the word? Curious what futures thinking is? ?? If you’re a feminist change agent who has been seeing me and Lis Best post about the Regenerative Futures Summit but wondering what is futures thinking, here’s what you should know: ?? Futures (or foresight) explores diverse scenarios of what might be possible in the future based on what’s already happening today. By considering many possibilities, we can better prepare for those scenarios, decide what actions we’ll take toward the outcomes we want, and build skills like imagination, comfort with ambiguity, and identifying leverage points for change–key skills we need to create systemic change. (I.e. it's *very* practical!) As a changemaker, futures thinking transformed how I think about the future in 3 big ways: ?? It taught me there are many possible futures, not just one. This alone was huge in expanding my sense of possibility in a field where scarcity and urgency run rampant. ?? It strengthened my sense of agency. The future we end up with isn’t random. Everyday, we’re co-creating it, whether we realize it or not. Of course we can’t control everything about the future, but there are some things we can. This helped me shift from seeing the future as something that happens to us to something I can influence. ?? I learned to pay attention to where the future is already emerging. My brain is great at noticing negative signals, but I learned to get better at collecting the positive ones too. This has been a great source of hope and a helpful tool in balancing negativity bias. If you’re a feminist change agent wanting to reconnect to your vision, learn new tools, and start 2025 strong, join us on Jan. 31 for the Regenerative Futures Summit! (And tell your friends!) ?? It's an interactive futures visioning and skill-building experience for feminist impact + ESG leaders, entrepreneurs, academics and activists, designed to rebuild hope that our visions are possible. ?? Last call today for early bird tickets to The Regenerative Futures Summit for Feminist Change Agents on Jan. 31! My co-host Lis Best and I are on opposite coasts. As she evacuated the LA fires, I've been preparing for Atlanta's winter storm, which has been bringing up challenging flashbacks of the 2021 freeze + power outages in Austin - a week where at some point, I sat crying with my friends I was sheltering with and asked "Why are we acting like this is normal??" I will never forget that. These are challenging, transformational times. There’s no way around it. And when I think of what can help us move toward a more just, regenerative world AND sustain us on the way there, it’s: ?? Community ?? Sharing ideas, resources + wisdom ?? Learning new skills that can help us navigate these times ?? Acknowledging the moment we’re in, together ?? Reconnecting to our visions + our big "why" ?? Showing up in safe spaces where we can access our curiosity + imagination, dream beyond the current reality, and widen what feels possible ?? Finding joy even in moments of challenge We’re going to do all of this on Jan 31. And if you'd like to join us at the lowest rate, make sure to grab your ticket by midnight Pacfic Time today, Jan. 10. ??
