  • Last week, Sister Cities International hosted our annual Spring Leadership Meetings in Washington, DC! Over three productive days, SCI Leadership gathered in person for board committee meetings, a joint State, Country, and Region Representative Meeting, and concluded with meeting of our Board of Directors. A special highlight of the week was an evening at the Thailand Ambassador's Residence, graciously hosted by Ambassador of Thailand to the U.S., Dr. Suriya Chindawongse. This event celebrated the enduring relationship between Thailand and the United States and the importance of citizen diplomacy. Our Board of Directors also participated in a Board Governance Training led by Bob Harris, CAE known as the "Martha Stewart of Association Management." His expertise provided valuable insights to strengthen our leadership. A huge thank you to our SCI Leadership for traveling to DC and making these meetings a success. It was a fantastic opportunity to collaborate, strategize, and connect in person! #SCI #connectgloballythrivelocally #citizendiplomacy
