    Bottom funnel is great. But ... top funnel matters too! Super happy to host Roku head of ad innovation Peter Hamilton on Growth Masterminds to chat about the evolving ad ecosystem on CTV generally and Roku specifically. Roku, of course, does video ads. But it also does a ton of other ad formats, and has multiple forms of engagement or action, including, basically, a Buy Now button.     #mystartuplearnings Learning 1: Use a subscription management software! This should be a non-negotiable for you! All agreements which you sign are sneaky and all businesses out there are here to make money and they have very very sneaky auto-renewal clauses which you miss out! For example, we use the best product analytics, marketing, etc. tools (I don't want to name the best ones, you know them) all of them have sneaky clauses. And when it was time for us to cancel some of them, they slammed these sneaky clauses saying that you have signed it. And when we say that this wasn't shared upfront, they say either of these reasons: 1. The person handling it has left the company so we don't know what you spoke 2. You have signed it so pay it-simple Some companies- I should shout out for them like Singular have been generous enough and have a phenomenal customer support team who understand the situations and are flexible. Such companies value customer relations and what they stand for as a business more than just revenue! But the majority of them would like to suck the money out of you! Zluri Recurly etc are some of the best Subscription management platforms out there. They might just cost you a few dollars but trust me they will save you tons of money! If you are a founder who relates to this story and had bad experiences with subscription renewal terms, please share your story for others to know and learn from the experience!
