At Singlife, we believe that true financial wellbeing goes beyond just providing our customers with innovative financial solutions. In line with our values, sustainability is a key pillar of our strategy, guiding how we operate and make decisions that benefit both our customers and the wider community. In one of our latest outreach initiatives, we participated in Nanyang Technological University Singapore (Nanyang Business School) Academy for Career Excellence (ACE) #GetReal! Series! At the “Paradoxes of Sustainability in Business” panel, our Head of Sustainability Ko-Wen Chia discussed important topics with fellow panellists, touching on the hype cycle in sustainability, the distinction between greenwashing and greenhushing as well as how organisations are advancing their sustainable practices. It was wonderful to have a meaningful session with the enthusiastic students and to witness their curiosity about pursuing a career in sustainability. We look forward to having more conversations and sessions at NTU again! #Sustainability #Partnerships #Singlife #NTU

Do you know which year Deepavali was declared a public holiday in Singapore?? In multiracial Singapore and Singlife, we believe in fostering a workplace culture which celebrates diversity, inclusion and the unique traditions that make us all who we are. Singlife colleagues from all walks of life came together to embrace and celebrate Deepavali. A beautiful tradition that symbolises the triumph of light over darkness and good over evil, Deepavali was a perfect opportunity to reflect on our shared values of unity, collaboration and positivity within our teams. Our Group CEO, Pearlyn Phau and Group Head of Technology & Operations, Romil Sharma joined us in the celebration to light the diya to usher in new beginnings and prosperity ??. Singlifers celebrated with games, music and delicious Indian sweets and snacks, including a rangoli design competition ??. It was amazing how intricate some of the designs were within a short 40-minute time limit. Many also basked in the festive spirit by getting henna tattoos done at our henna stations. A big thank you to everyone who participated and made this event a memorable one! Looking forward to many more celebrations of culture and togetherness at Singlife ????. P.S. Deepavali was declared a public holiday in Singapore in 1929. #Deepavali #Diwali #FestivalOfLights #TeamCelebration #WorkplaceCulture #DiversityAndInclusion?

At Singlife, we pride ourselves on being a homegrown financial services company with a deep commitment in nurturing the next generation of professionals. ? We believe that the future of our industry lies in empowering young talent, and we work with a number of like-minded partners to advance our efforts. Last month, we had the opportunity to host Advisory Singapore and a group of students from various institutes of higher learning at our corporate office. Singlifers Wei Lin Chin, Effin Jamalludin, MAPS Ko-Wen Chia and Adriana C. shared insights on Singlife’s journey, and our management associate programme and #sustainability. ? Terance Tan, one of our management associates, shared his experience working in Singlife’s Sustainability Office. He also took the opportunity to debunk common misconceptions around the topic of sustainability.? ? The session was well received by the students with many lauding the insightful sharing on the professional pathways in sustainability. ? We certainly hope more can join us at such interactive sessions to find out more about the insurance industry as well as our sustainability practices. ? #advisorysg #sustainability #singlifemap #abetterwaytosustainability
