We're #hiring a new Electrical & Controls Engineer in Portage, Michigan. Apply today. Job Summary: As an Electrical & Controls Engineer, you will utilize your technical expertise to design & program various automation projects. As a member of a project team, you’ll work alongside our cross-functional departments to design, build, program, and deploy custom automated equipment and solutions for every application, process, and industry. Roles and Responsibilities: - Develop and maintain PLC programs using Allen Bradley Studio 5000 software. - Develop and maintain robot programs using Fanuc Robot Programming software. - Develop and maintain the CCW Rockwell HMI program. - Troubleshoot and resolve PLC and robot programming issues. - Provide technical support to other team members. - Interface with Mechanical and Electrical engineering to develop robust and efficient designs. - Debug powered-on machines to verify mechanical and programming functionality meets customer's requirements. - Interface directly with customers during weekly meetings to detail progress and answer questions. Qualifications: - Understanding of electrical circuits, electrical panel design,?pneumatic design, hydraulic design, PLCs, HMIs, and robotics. - At least 2 years of experience in PLC, HMI, and robot programming. - Strong understanding of Allen Bradley Studio 5000 and Fanuc Robot Programming software. - Ability to work independently and as part of a team. - Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
