Today we announced we have partnered with The E.W. Scripps Company, Gray Media, Inc. and Nexstar Media Group, Inc. to form a joint venture to provide high-speed data transmission services. EdgeBeam Wireless will use ATSC 3.0 to provide faster, more secure, and less expensive data delivery. Leveraging broadcasters’ uniquely efficient network architecture and the ATSC 3.0 transmission standard, EdgeBeam Wireless will provide expansive, reliable, and secure data delivery services. Using the broadcasters’ existing ATSC 3.0 facilities to deliver data has immediate applications for industries that need to send data to multiple customers, often in real time. Sinclair Diversity Scholarship - now accepting applications! Sinclair today announced that the company’s annual Diversity Scholarship program is now accepting applications for the 2025 academic year. Having provided nearly $400,000 in tuition assistance since 2013, the scholarship program aims to invest in the future of the broadcast industry by helping students from diverse backgrounds, who reflect Sinclair’s audiences nationwide, complete their education and pursue careers in journalism and marketing. Applicants must be a current college sophomore or junior at an accredited four-year undergraduate college or university in the United States.
