Sinclair, Inc. today announced the retirement of David Schwartz, Corporate Senior Vice President/Station Operations, effective June 30. Schwartz has held the role since 2007 and has been a key leader in Sinclair’s broadcast operations for more than two decades. Schwartz joined Sinclair in 2004 as General Manager of WSMH-TV in Flint, Michigan, and quickly established himself as a strategic and respected voice within the company. Over his career at Sinclair, he played a pivotal role in shaping the company’s operational strategy and guiding local stations through periods of growth, innovation, and transformation. Earlier this month,Sinclair Inc. came together for our annual "Sinclair Day of Service." The employee-led initiative is a continuation of Sinclair's long history of giving back, and empowered our employees to take the lead in identifying non-profit organizations that serve and enrich their local communities, and devote a day to volunteerism. Through #sinclairdayofservice, nearly 1400 employees came together to volunteer in the local markets we serve. We hope the actions of our employees will prompt others to donate their time to the wonderful non-profit organizations that make a difference in our local communities. #sinclairdayofservice #giveback
