As the Architect of Record, Sinclair Hille Architects, in association with HDR, collaborated to reimagine this vital campus facility. The project resolved accessibility challenges, introduced advanced acoustic design, and seamlessly unified the building’s wings. Congratulations to the City of Lincoln on yesterday’s groundbreaking for Lincoln’s first-ever Permanent Supportive Housing project, a key initiative to reduce chronic homelessness. Designed by Sinclair Hille Architects and to be built by BIC Construction, the 15,000-square-foot facility will provide 24 dwelling units at 8th and J streets, connecting future residents to critical services like mental health care, treatment, and employment managed by CenterPointe. Completion is expected in late 2025. Yesterday we welcomed local high school students to our bi-annual Job Shadow Day, offering an immersive experience in architecture and interior design. Students explored the entire design process—from initial concepts to visualizing their own creative spaces. The day focused on hands-on learning, sparking inspiration and a passion for design. For 20 years, this event has provided future designers with a unique, behind-the-scenes look at the industry.

Last Friday, our firm was proud to be the Presenting Sponsor for the Putt Putt Fore Puppies event in support of all the wonderful work that the Capital Humane Society does to advocate for animals in our community. The work they do on behalf of animals is so important to our community and we appreciate their advocacy on behalf of animals both in and out of the shelter.
