Thanks to scammers and fraudsters, the first step in messaging is simply convincing your customers it's actually you who's sending the text. The best way to show you're legit? Send your messages via RCS. Brands using RCS are vetted by three different entities: 1. The communications platform you're using (that's us!) 2. Google 3. The recipient's mobile carrier When your customers receive an RCS message from you, they'll see your logo front and center, plus a verified company info page. On top of that, RCS has in-transit encryption to make sure they're secure. Last week I was in Sweden And experienced something beautiful. The wonderful people at Sinch invited me to speak at their sales kickoff conference. And it was there that I saw a thing not every company has: - A genuine comradery - Cross-department support - Welcoming energy from all levels This kind of vibe can't be faked; It comes from a culture of ambition and teamwork. Now I'm not being paid to write this post, but I believe it's worth sharing because so many businesses miss it: - They focus on being functional - There's a "let's tick the box" attitude - The element of 'fun' in work is downplayed But it's the stuff Sinch showed that lubricates the whole thing. - From the after hours team building - To the cool sports-themed conference - And the leadership team's ABBA music video* As someone enjoying building my own team in Art of Sell it was truly inspiring. Work isn't just the bottom line (although that's the primary function of the business). It's also the interactions between the team and customers too. Making it fun Being keen to connect Seeing the challenges as a game That's what makes business so stimulating. And we should want more of that in our world.
