Throwing it back to December, when the Lancaster Marriott at Penn Square /Lancaster County Convention Center Authority hosted the Lancaster Chamber's Discovering Paths Mentoring Program session on Tourism, Hospitality, & Entertainment! Olivia Novak, Discover Lancaster, kicked off our session by sharing about tourism in Lancaster County and why Lancaster is such a marvelous place to live, work, and experience! Rebecca Nett and her team provided the inside scoop on the Lancaster Marriott/Lancaster County Convention Center with a tour - complete with an event setup in progress (we couldn't have planned it better if we tried)! Our mentors and students connected numerous professionals representing different facets of Tourism, Hospitality, & Entertainment through speed mentoring and a "Behind the Scenes" panel featuring Mike Reynolds (Lancaster Stormers), Michelle Rondinelli (Kitchen Kettle Village), and Joshua Funk (TFB Hospitality), facilitated by Brian T. Rutter. Ryan Geesaman, Lancaster Bible College, and Dakota Baker, The CI Companies, also shared demonstrations and overviews of the live event industry.
