We are beyond thrilled to share that Jeanette Brown-Sneed, my mother and a cherished partner at Simply Custom, will be a guest speaker at the upcoming event hosted by the DFW chapter of the National Organization of Minority Architects (NOMA). This event, “Laying the Foundation for DFW Architecture & Advocacy,” is a fitting platform for someone who has truly laid the foundation for so many in the architecture and development industry.
Jeanette isn’t just a phenomenal asset to our company; she has been a trailblazer in the field for decades. As the first African-American woman to serve as a Project Manager in the Architectural Department of the City of Dallas, she has played an instrumental role in shaping our city. Her work with the Dallas Public Library, where she oversaw numerous new development and renovation projects, has left a lasting legacy that continues to impact our community.
This recognition is well-deserved, and I am so proud to see her honored in this way. Her journey has inspired many, and her dedication to excellence in architecture and advocacy for minority architects continues to resonate with all who know her.
Please join us in celebrating her accomplishments and in supporting her as she speaks at this event on September 19th. This is a momentous occasion for all of us at Simply Custom and a testament to the incredible work she has done throughout her career.
