Yesterday, we had the privilege of spending an inspiring day in the Boston Design District (SOWA), alongside some of the most talented professionals in the world of design and architecture. The event featured engaging seminars with thought leaders such as Tess Woods of Modern Luxury, Jill Litner Kaplan of her eponymous interior design firm, architect Kyle Sheffield of Blue Hour Design, Christopher Peacock of his national bespoke cabinetry firm, and Tim Wilson of The Legassé Group, luxury builders. It was a day filled with insights. architect Kyle Sheffield pointed out that the world of high-end residential design is interconnected, with top professionals revolving within the same orbit. Chemistry, he emphasized, is key to choosing who you work with. Tim Wilson highlighted that the process is as crucial as the product—collaboration is what ensures a great result in the end. Jill Litner Kaplan stressed the importance of internal team alignment, advocating for an all-hands meeting before client interactions to ensure everyone is on the same page. Christopher Peacock reminded us all that flexibility is critical in this industry—every client has unique needs, and understanding their priorities and vision is essential to delivering the best results.
