Amy Brandon has been promoted to Director of Human Resources for SIMONA AMERICA Group, reporting directly to Adam Mellen. In this expanded role, Amy will oversee human resource “HR” functions at the group level, including our three U.S. companies: SIMONA AMERICA Industries, SIMONA Boltaron, and SIMONA PMC. Amy first joined SIMONA Boltaron in October 2008, shortly after graduating from Kent State University with a bachelor’s degree in business administration. Over the years, she has held various roles from customer service to inside sales before transitioning to Human Resources Manager in 2014. In 2024, Amy successfully completed the International Leadership Circle, which is an intensive, 18-month leadership training program. ? This groundbreaking solution, used in electric buses, enhances safety with a flame-retardant STAMAX? long glass fiber polypropylene from SABIC Solutions for Automotive. Use of the material in the battery pack housing helps mitigate thermal runaway risks – outperforming aluminum enclosures. Offering 30% weight savings, improved fire resistance, and structural integrity, this innovative battery housing solution is helping to shape the future of sustainable urban mobility. We’re thrilled to honor Troy for 20 incredible years with SIMONA. From his first role on the production floor at Boltaron Inc. in 2004, Troy’s journey has been one of remarkable growth and leadership. After starting at the Calender dump mill, Troy’s talent and drive quickly earned him a transition into IT as an assistant to the IT Manager. In a matter of months, he took on a dual role in Inside Sales and IT support, showcasing his versatility and commitment. Troy’s dedication led to his promotion to IT Manager in 2007. His leadership expanded in 2019 when he became IT Manager for both SIMONA Boltaron Inc. and SIMONA PMC, culminating in his current role as Director of IT for SIMONA AMERICA Group, which he earned in October 2022. Today, we recognize Lynne Anderson, who has dedicated an incredible 25 years to SIMONA. Starting her journey in 1999 as the Director of Finance at SIMONA UK, Lynne's expertise and leadership brought her to the US on what was meant to be a three-year contract. Fast forward 10 years into that “three-year” period, and Lynne is now the Chief Financial Officer of SIMONA AMERICA Group, a vital part of our senior management team. Lynne credits SIMONA’s culture as a key factor in her professional growth and success and cherishes the lifelong friendships she has built over the years.
