Kindness Worldwide has started a movement to create a culture of kindness, establishing Kindness Week Worldwide as part of their legacy. The SIM Detroit RISE class of 2024 joined this mission to convert kindness into action, during this year’s Kindness Week. As part of a project to give back through the RISE program, called Pay It Forward, our group was tasked to make a meaningful difference in our community. Partnering with Forgotten Harvest, we were able to help provide 840 families with Thanksgiving dinners. This mission not only united us in purpose but also fostered professional relationships that will extend well beyond our RISE journey.
