The heart of our lived experience beat strong and true this past week at East Meets West & Beyond, SilverBell Global’s 2024 retreat at The Falcon, Castle Ashby. ?? We are joyfully indebted to Lady Tracy Northampton and Lord Spencer Northampton for their vision, collaboration, and deeply valued partnership. Together, facilitators and guests uncovered old stories with the courage and commitment of the greatest explorers, then forged new ones along neural pathways primed by curiosity, connection, and trust. ?? Voices were heard. Bodies, hearts, and souls listened. Nervous systems co-regulated. We allowed the body to breathe us into the present moment. We connected, moved, and transformed ourselves and each other. ? We were honored to attend the second annual fundraiser gala for Suicide&Co, a trailblazing charity whose core purpose is to support those bereaved by suicide by transforming the conversation around suicide-related grief. The gala was a magical evening of powerful conversation, innovative ideas, inspiring performances, and a great deal of hope. Suicide&Co founders Amelia Wrighton and Emma Morrisroe are pioneering the fight for grief support in the UK through more productive, open conversations and actions around suicide bereavement. Since its inception in 2020, Suicide&Co has raised over ￡1 million for the communities it supports. We are thrilled to champion them along the way. With the first-ever national suicide bereavement helpline run by bereavement counselors accessible via telephone, email, or web chat, Suicide&Co is truly one of a kind. Their brilliant free app SideKick welcomes users into a supportive, non-judgemental community and information hub.
