AI is rewriting the rules of enterprise #DataStorage ?? ? As unstructured data volumes explode and GPU-driven workloads surge, companies are ditching piecemeal solutions for unified, scalable, AI-powered systems. #HPE’s Patrick Osborne says it’s time to rethink your entire storage architecture — because incremental change won’t cut it anymore. ? #theCUBE’s Savannah Peterson speaks with Osborne as a part of the "Cloud AI Journey With HPE" interview series. They discuss how #AI is fundamentally transforming enterprise data storage strategies. ? “I think one of the things is that people need to start thinking right now about their data architecture for the future,” Osborne says. “This whole market around AI and how it's being applied ... it's just the beginning. Incrementalism is not going to work in this case. They need a new way of thinking. They need to set an order of magnitude ... a different mindset on performance, on scale, on data services that come along with their data.” ? ?? More here: https://lnkd.in/d9vcHWU5? ? #HPECloudAI

"That’s a big deal." ?? Yes—it’s true. H2O.ai now holds the world’s highest score on the General AI Assistants (GAIA) Benchmark. ?? ? AI is evolving at lightening speed. DeepSeek and Manus AI pushed past OpenAI and even previous records. But over the last few days, H2O.ai unseated OpenAI and reclaimed the top spot. At this moment, H2O.ai is the U.S. response to AI advancements coming from China in generalized AI assistance. ?? What’s next? Agentic AI. "As intelligence becomes ubiquitous, agency becomes valuable," says H2O.ai CEO Sri Satish Ambati. "Businesses don’t just need AI that generates—they need AI that understands, reasons, and takes action. Grounding generative AI in real-world business applications is the future, and that’s exactly what we’re building." Technical blog by: https://lnkd.in/ezhaqSjn (cc: Jonathan McKinney) ?? The importance of local news & the efforts of Press Forward ?? At #ForwardGlobal Summit, #theCUBE’s John Furrier spoke to Dale Anglin, Director at Press Forward, about the company’s approach to supporting local news and focusing on this sector from a philanthropic lens. “Press Forward is a large donor collective. We started with 20 foundations and now we have over 90 foundations, local and national, all focused on supporting local news. Over the last 20 years, we've lost reporters and outlets for many reasons. Research shows that when you don't have local news in a region, people are less engaged with each other. They don't understand their neighbors as much. We need local news for public safety and accountability of our public officials. They don't always do the right thing if they aren't being watched,” Anglin shares. “We needed to talk about all of the other issues that people care about, the arts, economic development, and children's issues. But if you're trying to implement a change in those areas, if no one is getting information about that change, then it's not helpful. So, local news is something that's really important. We need it, but we have not focused as a philanthropic sector on that because they had their own ad revenue for a long time,” she adds. ?? What are the greatest cybersecurity threats related to AI? At the HumanX AI conference in Las Vegas last week, Reken CEO Shuman Ghosemajumder spoke on a panel about how AI is changing cybersecurity, with Vijay Balasubramaniyan, CEO of Pindrop and Galina Antova, co-founder of Claroty. John Furrier of SiliconANGLE & theCUBE moderated. One question he asked was: what areas has AI exposed to cybercriminals? In the answer here, they discuss how adversarial and other model-focused attacks are issues for compliance, but cybercriminals continue to focus on using AI to more directly attack employees, to create fraud and steal money, as that is their primary incentive. This is why enterprises protecting themselves against fraud and social engineering, which is getting turbocharged by AI, is by far the most critical area for defense. Congratulations to the HumanX team for successfully running one of the most significant AI events of the year!
