    Attention Utah women founders, funders, and marketers! Our next Silicon Slopes Marketing Chapter event is for you. Join us on Thursday, March 27th, for “Storytelling to Up-Level Your Brand and Business” at 11:30am. While there’s uncertainty in the market today, all the more reason it’s important to know how to advocate for yourself, something I'm personally trying to learn about all the time.     I hesitate to post about this again. It’s last-minute. I should have been promoting this weeks ago.? And I’d be lying if I said I wasn’t feeling a little embarrassed. But this workshop isn’t about perfection. It’s about confidence. And if there’s one thing I know, it’s that confidence doesn’t come from getting everything right. It comes from showing up anyway. So, here I am. Showing up. This Thursday in Utah, I’m hosting the first in a free workshop series designed to help women build confidence—one step at a time. Come to one, come to all. Just come. They will learn to build confidence in all areas of their life.     For the longest time, I’ve been searching for a mentor. So when Silicon Slopes Women in Leadership opened applications for their mentorship program, I knew I had to apply. Truth is, I had applied before, but looking back, I now see why it makes sense that I was matched this time with the incredible Ari Mason. And let me tell you—I couldn’t be luckier. Ari is not only a powerhouse in marketing but also an incredibly generous and talented person. Yesterday, we had an amazing conversation covering email marketing strategies, customer journey mapping, quantifying campaign success, and how to frame marketing strategies with clear hypotheses and measurable outcomes. But beyond the marketing talk, we ended our meeting reflecting on life, and something she said really stuck with me: “It’s okay not to understand everything as it happens. Most of the time, when you look back, the dots connect, and everything makes sense.” That hit home. Sometimes, we question if we belong in certain spaces, if we’re ready, if we’re making the right moves. But the truth is—you belong. No matter where you are in your career, every step is leading you to something greater.   • Hi Ladies! I am reaching out to you all to help someone in our community, a Canadian working on an H1B work visa who has just been laid off this past week. Because she is not a US citizen, and she has a work visa, she has only 60 days to find a new job. She currently has the H1B visa (so new companies do not need to apply on her behalf but she will just transfer the visa over to the new company and she's legally able to pay for most of it herself). She has experience working as a customer success manager for several years. She lives in Utah County and would love to continue living and working here but open to relocating. She's been building up her life in the US for 12 years now from being an international student in the US to working here and contributing to the US.
