?? Employee Spotlight: Rick Sanford – IT Technician at SignResource ?? Today, we're excited to highlight Rick Sanford, an IT Technician at our Jacksboro, TN location who joined the SignResource team just over a year ago. In his position, Rick plays a crucial role in supporting our day-to-day operations by providing top-notch user support and assisting colleagues with any technical issues they encounter. His work doesn’t stop at troubleshooting; Rick is also instrumental in maintaining and updating our network infrastructure, ensuring that our systems remain secure and operational. In addition to his daily tasks, Rick contributes to larger projects that improve our facilities as well. Before Rick joined SignResource, he spent over a decade working in Graphic Design. With degrees in Visual Communications and Graphic Design, he built a strong career in creative work. His curiosity about computers grew naturally over the years, often finding himself assisting IT departments with simpler tasks. Little did he know then that these small, early experiences would ignite a passion for IT. At his previous company, Rick got his first taste of working in the field as a Data Security Specialist and later stepped into the role of IT Admin—a challenge he embraced wholeheartedly. His journey from graphic design to IT has been one of self-driven learning and growth, and he’s proven that creativity and technical problem-solving can go hand-in-hand. One of Rick’s most memorable moments at SignResource was seeing his nameplate on his office door for the first time. Though simple to many, for him, it was a symbol of his growth and a reminder of his journey. “The supportive environment here has been an added bonus,” he says, I appreciate my team’s willingness to jump in and collaborate whenever challenges arise.” The encouragement he receives from colleagues makes every effort worthwhile. Rick especially enjoys the ongoing problem-solving aspect of his role—each issue he tackles brings a sense of accomplishment and growth. He’s also grateful for how his role has helped him connect with others, making him feel right at home. As Rick looks to the future, he’s excited to continue developing within our IT department. Cyber Security is a field he’s passionate about, and he hopes to expand his expertise to help us protect our systems and ward off potential threats. Rick’s dedication, adaptability, and commitment to lifelong learning make him a valuable asset to our team, and we’re grateful to have him on board! This 7-Eleven ?? has certainly been an excellent adventure! The Ribbon Cutting Ceremony is right around the corner and I cannot be more proud of our first Gas Station and C-store project. It has been over three years in the making but the hard work has paid off. The City of #Glendale will be the 1st in the #valleyofthesun to have the new generation 7-Eleven. It has been 25 years since #Phoenix has seen a new #7Eleven design ? and the #derito team is thrilled to announce our first grand opening (of many) this month. Celebrate with us this #October at our #Glendale location. ?? With its starting gate layout, modern brick finish, and mixture of metals and contemporary signage our project stands out on any #retail corner. To our dedicated #development team and all our #consultants and #partners on this project ?? .
