Excited & grateful to share that our open-source project, has crossed 20,000+ GitHub stars! ?? This milestone puts us in the company of some incredible open-source projects — like Kubernetes, Prometheus, etcd, and Helm. For context, only 15 CNCF projects have ever crossed the 20k+ GitHub stars mark, and we’re thrilled & humbled to join this elite club. None of this would have been possible without the continued support of our dev community. From users sharing feedback to contributors improving the platform, this milestone is as much yours as it is ours. ?? Thank you for believing in the idea of an open-source observability platform built on an open ecosystem like OpenTelemetry. Your support and trust keep us going. ?? When we started SigNoz, we knew the developer community needed a simple, one-stop open-source observability tool—but we didn’t imagine the painpoint would resonate with so many people around the world. It’s a great milestone for our team, and it makes our resolve of building the best open-source observability platform stronger. Let’s keep pushing the boundaries of what’s possible in open-source observability. ??

We launched a major upgrade to our open source project last week and are delighted to see the community response to it. ?? It also made our open source repo trend on Github ?? ?? Introducing SigNoz Single Binary ?? We have combined some previously separate components (query-service, frontend, and alertmanager) into a single binary called SigNoz. This means fewer moving parts, simpler maintenance, and a much smoother installation experience. This architectural improvement significantly simplifies the deployment and maintenance of SigNoz, making it more accessible to a broader range of users. Some of the key benefits include: ?? Allows installation on bare metal servers ?? Faster & Easier Installation ?? Simplified Maintenance ?? Reduced Infrastructure Overhead Check out all the details in our blog(link in comments)

We had a meaty conversation and I'm looking forward to a follow-up with the SigNoz community to dive into observing and tracing span links and database calls. #signoz #o11y #observability
