Take a look the marvelous Bradbury Clubhouse! #BeBradbury
The Bradbury Clubhouse in Hoover, Alabama, features an L-shaped design with two main wings connected by a breezeway. The 2,600 sq ft Clubhouse Wing boasts an open, trussed multi-purpose area with front and rear covered porches, while the 1,900 sq ft Fitness Wing includes a warm-up area and an outdoor fitness space. An outdoor pool, flanked by simple post-and-beam cabanas, sits between the wings. At one end of the pool area, three structures anchor the deck and game lawn. The front of the Clubhouse features a large, crushed stone event lawn with a fire pit, a small stage/movie lawn, rows of trees, custom wood posts with string lights, and parking for food trucks, designed to encourage community gatherings. Hear from architect Mark Riddle about his goals while designing Bradbury's amenities. “Our goal was to create delightful exterior buildings and beautiful interior spaces with a slightly more contemporary aesthetic and simple detailing but even important enjoyable exterior spaces that work together to create and foster a place for this community to gather." Sometimes you have to get a little muddy to keep progress moving. Lots of rain, equals lots of mud! We needed to clean out the elevator pits so that waterproofing could be applied to the poured walls. Don’t be afraid to grab a shovel and get dirty if your team needs it.
