Our team had a great time last week competing in the 17th annual Opstoberfest cookoff hosted by the WEAT North Texas Section. This was Signature Automation's third year participating in the BBQ competition, and we're excited to add a trophy for 1ST PLACE CHICKEN to our collection. Congratulations to the cookoff team (and supporters!) including Rick Hidalgo, Dave Harran, John Bauman, Mauro Perez, Kevin Patel, and special guest Hector Ortiz. Awards aside, this is always a fun event to mingle with industry friends and celebrate our local Operations Challenge teams. Until next year!

In recognition of the continuous need for developing strong engineering talent and the leaders of tomorrow, Signature Automation has invested in our co-op program since the inception of the firm. We are proud to offer hands-on experience and mentorship to prepare students for careers as engineering and automation professionals, especially in the water/wastewater industry. Our employees have come together to form an exciting new book club! The first session involved a discussion of 'The Midnight Library' by Matt Haig, and next, they will be diving into 'Isaac's Storm' by Erik Larson. They will be meeting again in late July, and we love seeing their passion for reading sparked by these thrilling books.
