We've noticed many of America's cultural institutions are struggling with the same two things: (1) as the pandemic recedes in the rear view mirror, people have still not been coming back to the arts in the same numbers as before (2) with our media landscape shattered into fragments, it's hard to get the word out about important cultural moments (like the performance of Rinaldo this weekend at the Detroit Opera, you guys gotta go see that). Meanwhile, people are more depressed, more isolated, and really just need to get out and see some art (Incliding you! Book something today! Seriously! You will feel better!) To meet this moment, we have teamed with Gary E Gonya to launch GLAM, a new practice focused on creative, strategy and media for arts institutions. With Gary's formidable strengths (he was our key collaborator on the award winning Toledo Museum of Art work) and with Lafayette American and Scorpion Rose Studio's deep experience on brands like TMA, Detroit Opera, SIGNAL-RETURN and Zekelman Holocaust Museum, I'm pretty sure we are going to do some amazing things.
