Empowering the Next Generation of Leaders! ?? This past Saturday, the Advent Talent Group team had the privilege of leading two sessions for the new Girl Scouts River Valleys' Leadership Institute program for high school students. We've been proud supporters and partners of Girl Scouts River Valleys for many years, but this new initiative is something special! It focuses on the critical skills needed during the transition from adolescence to adulthood, giving Girl Scouts the support they need to thrive in high school and beyond. Our team led workshops on: ? Career Confidence to Rock the Workforce for 9th & 10th graders, led by Mary Younggren (she/her/hers) and featuring an Enneagram assessment to help identify personality-aligned career paths. ? Resumes, Wardrobe & Workforce Essentials for 11th & 12th graders, with expert guidance from Caribou Coffee's Erica Edwards and Veronica Powell on resume writing, building a LinkedIn profile, and interviewing. The day concluded with an interactive styling session using professional attire from Dress for Success Twin Cities, where we split into teams and curated Business Casual, Business Casual (Jeans Allowed), and Business Professional looks for the office.
