This afternoon, the sad news broke that Rep. Raul Grijalva (D-AZ) passed away after a months-long battle with cancer. He was 77. During his two decades in Congress, Griijalva was a champion for our environment and public lands, helping achieve numerous victories for Sierra Club issues. In particular, he worked to permanently fund the Land and Water Conservation Fund, passed the Environmental Justice for All Act, defended the Grand Canyon, and stood up for Tribal rights. https://bit.ly/3DJmfar
