Oh, What a Night! Magnificent DER FEINSCHMECKER Wine Awards 2024 at the Grand Elysée Hamburg. And SieMatic as Premium Partner right in the middle of it. Thank you, it was wonderful. With over 500 guests, the who's who of the culinary world came together on 9th November for the gourmet event of the year in the Grand Ballroom of Hamburg's five-star Grand Elysée Hotel. For the 21st time, international winemakers and gourmet ambassadors were honoured in seven categories: from Newcomer of the Year to Wine Legend. These included D?rte and Meike N?kel from the top Weingut Meyer N?kel winery in the Ahr region as Winemakers of the Year, Willi Bründlmayer from the Weingut Bründlmayer Langenlois GmbH winery in Langenlois in Austria with the Lifetime Achievement Award, wine legend Jean-Babtiste Lécaillon, since 1999 cellar master and mastermind of the renowned champagne house Champagne Louis Roederer in Reims, and with the Riesling Cup Gert Aldinger from the Aldinger winery in Baden-Württemberg, founded in 1492. The award ceremony was magnificently hosted by Inka Schneider and was musically interpreted in an unforgettable way by star pianist Joja Wendt, who thrilled the audience with individual performances for each award winner. The Roederer champagne flowed like water and the award-winning winemakers invited guests to taste their top wines in detail. The guests were spoilt with culinary delights from 10 top chefs and their teams: Rosina Ostler (Alois Alois Dallmayr Kaffee oHG, München), Ricky Saward?(Seven Swans GmbH, Frankfurt),?Marco Mueller?(Rutz - Restaurant Und Weinbar, Berlin),?Cornelia Poletto (POLETTO ALIMENTOS, Hamburg),?Hubert Wallner und Jaimy Reisinger?(Hubert Wallner Gourmet Restaurant), Jan-Philipp Berner (S?l'ring Hof , Sylt), Tobias B?tz (Hotel Aura, Wirsberg),?Johann Lafer (legendary chef and TV chef)?and Joachim Glemser (Grand Elysée, Hamburg) allowed us to look over their shoulders as they cooked and were in lively dialogue with guests and partners. All in all, impressive 10 Guide Michelin stars and 10 F from Der Feinschmecker. An evening full of flavours and a great night with live music and dancing among like-minded people. At the end of September, our Spanish Partner ICONNO Arquitectura Interior in Madrid hosted a private exclusive event, bringing together 30 different personalities from the world of architecture, interior design and promotion of luxury homes at national and international level. The iconic SieMatic SLX kitchen and the renowned chef Coco Montes were the protagonists of the event, during which the art of cooking and the art of design fit perfectly together, showing an idea of luxury that is lived and experienced in every detail.
