    If you've been keeping up with me, you probably know just how excited we are about working with PirateSoftware. I've always had a genuine interest in working with Indie devs as arguably they are some of the most talented and creative minds (and biggest risk takers) in the games space. I struggle with the balance that its hard to dedicate time and resources where there is little to no budgets. As an Indie Developer himself, Thor understands the challenges way better than most. So he's dedicated a good part of his time to doing: - Dev streams: bringing on some of the most creative devs with unique games to chat about concepts, game designs, gameplay mechanics, etc. - Indie Rates: discounting his rates up to 50% for indies to ensure he can provide great value, while not pricing himself out of the market. - Playing ad hoc indie games in-stream, focused on unique gameplay at the suggestion of his audience. Not only, is he bringing down the costs and exposing these games to way wider audiences, but he's able to drive sales and retention. Which brings me to the images below. First, these aren't staggering figures until I put some perspective on this. The image below shows a text based (MUD) game that had been very close to zero people playing for three years and what happened the day that Thor played the game. The second slide shows the retention of players in the days since. It's pretty cool to see Thor just breathing new life into any game he plays. If you're an indie game dev/publisher, we'd love to explore ways we can work together to help get your game the attention it deserves. Even if your game is older/wildly fun but never found its audience, we'd love to chat and explore new opportunities.
