Our team had an amazing time at the IBL Users Group Meeting in Ljubljana, Slovenia! This annual gathering brought together global aviation and civil weather forecasting professionals to explore how IBL software is transforming the industry. We were thrilled to showcase our work using Kubernetes to streamline deployments of the IBL Open Weather software suite and to learn about several upcoming features that will help advance our capabilities. The latest updates from IBL, including their new object processor and object elastic database, open up exciting possibilities for scalable weather data access. This year was especially meaningful as we celebrated Shyft’s 7th anniversary! Since our first day at the UGM in 2017, we’ve hosted an annual happy hour to mark our “birthday,” and this year’s celebration welcomed over 100 colleagues from around the world. ??Recent Highlight ?? Last week, we had the pleasure of hosting partners from the USAF, the TADS program, the UK Met Office, and IBL Software at our annual summit. This year, our discussions centered around the usage of our Visual Weather, Open Weather, and Moving Weather toolkits. The summit was a fantastic opportunity to collaborate on ways to enhance our projects.
