We would like to welcome the two newest members of our pack, Vanessa and Jack! Vanessa, a Massachusetts native, is currently pursuing her studies in Environmental Science at FGCU. Since June 2023, she has been actively engaged in volunteer work at a sanctuary, gaining valuable insights into wildlife and developing a keen understanding of behaviors crucial in approaching situations involving both wild and domestic animals. Jack, a 2023 graduate of Claremont McKenna College with a dual major in environmental studies and economics. His enduring passion for animals, cultivated since birth, has driven him to dedicate countless hours to the observation and care of various species. Jack is thrilled to embark on a career aligned with his lifelong commitment, and he's eager to contribute to the mission of the Shy Wolf Sanctuary!
