I’m excited to share the completion of my capstone project for the Ultimate Bearkat Society at Sam Houston State University! ?? For my project, I decided to pursue a task I've long wanted to learn: how to sew! I created wearable art—a jacket filled with patches, buttons, pins, and other elements that document my unique journey through college. This piece reflects the highs, challenges, and growth I’ve experienced over the years. It’s a personal reflection of how far I’ve come, and I’m thrilled to share it with you all! The Ultimate Bearkat Experience has been such an inspiring part of my university journey. I’m grateful for the opportunities it has given me to grow as both an individual and a student leader. I’m looking forward to the upcoming induction dinner in May and to continuing this journey with such a great community. Here are some photos from the photoshoot of my finished jacket.
