I have practiced employment law representing management for over 40 years. Today, I spend most of my time advising employers on compliance matters, how to avoid getting sued by employees and also defending employers sued for discrimination, wrongful discharge or failure to comply with wage and hour laws and drafting employment policies and handbooks. I also serve as a mediator and arbitrator of employment disputes. I really enjoy and look forward to our monthly meetings and the regular employment law updates provided by SHRM-KC.
