What's your reset button? ?? Every January, Rock Boat is a non-negotiable on my calendar. Five days at sea with incredible live music, surrounded by a community of people who just?get it?- the power of stepping away to refuel. As an operations consultant (or The UnConsultant, as they call me), my job is to help leaders cut through the noise and see what really matters. But I can’t do that unless I take my own advice. Contrary to popular belief, clarity doesn’t come from grinding nonstop - it actually comes from giving yourself space to reset. This year (and honestly, every year), Rock Boat was exactly that for me. It was a chance to decompress, gain perspective, and come back sharper, more energized, and ready to help businesses make moves with intention. So I guess what I'm saying is this - If you haven’t built real rest into your calendar yet, let this be your nudge. Even the best-charted course needs time in calm waters.
