Sholom Spotlight: Celebrating Leadership and Growth! At Sholom, leadership isn’t just about titles—it’s about heart, dedication, and a commitment to making a difference. Today, we’re celebrating?Rachel Schade, MSHR, OHCC, who recently advanced to the role of?Human Resources Business Partner and Corporate Compliance Officer! Rachel’s journey into senior care leadership was shaped by a deep passion for people—both the residents we serve and the employees who dedicate themselves to their care. Early in her career, she experienced firsthand the challenges of working under a leader who lacked empathy and support. That experience, though difficult, became a defining moment. It showed her the kind of leader she?didn’t?want to be and fueled her commitment to fostering a culture of trust, collaboration, and respect. Now, in her expanded role at Sholom, Rachel is creating meaningful change—building systems that support staff, ensuring compliance, and ultimately enhancing the quality of care our residents receive. For her, leadership is about leading with empathy, uplifting others, and creating an environment where both employees and residents can thrive. When asked what she loves most about Sholom, Rachel doesn’t hesitate. It’s the sense of purpose, the camaraderie, and the shared mission of serving seniors with dignity and compassion. She believes that growth isn’t just about moving up—it’s about constantly learning, taking on challenges, and staying open to new opportunities. Rachel credits her late mother as her biggest inspiration—the person who always believed in her dreams and supported her every step of the way. And professionally, a former mentor helped shape her perspective on leadership, showing her how to navigate the world of human resources in senior care with confidence and grace. Outside of work, Rachel and her husband have discovered a new passion—boating! Whether it's fishing or simply enjoying the water, their time on the lake has become a treasured escape. Rachel’s story is a testament to what’s possible when passion meets purpose. We’re so grateful for her leadership and the positive impact she continues to make at Sholom. Please join us in celebrating her well-deserved success!
