After making sure our employees in North Carolina and Tennessee were safe after Hurricane Helene, Brian O’Rourke and his team in Asheville went to work. With help from James R. Vannoy & Sons Construction Company, Inc., Novant Health, Hajoca Corporation, and Pitt County Sheriff’s Department they set up a free lunch for the community and ended up serving over 700 meals. We have witnessed not just the worst of what nature can throw at us, but also the best of humanity stepping up to help those in need.
