SAA volunteering at the LA Regional Food Bank. Thank You!

SAA had the recent privilege of volunteering at the newly renovated facility. We helped assemble 1,260 kits of food and sorted 4,858 lbs of bread. It was a great success and exciting to see the new space up and running! SAA acted as the designer and Architect of Record for the renovation of LA Regional Food Bank’s (LARFB) newly acquired location in the City of Industry. The scope of the project included a full renovation of the First and second floor of the building to create new administrative offices, a new break area, a new exterior patio space, a new dock office for their warehouse staff, a new Volunteering center, and new Production spaces to support LARFB’s charitable efforts. The scope also included site and accessibility upgrades of their existing parking lots. SAA was thrilled to be part of this project and collaborate with an exceptional organization dedicated to serving the community. Stay tuned for our “Before and After” images showing the amazing transformation! The Los Angeles Regional Food Bank is a vital organization fighting hunger in our community. They work tirelessly to gather and distribute food to those in need, providing essential groceries and nutrition assistance to children, families, and seniors. Through their network of partner agencies, the Food Bank reaches hundreds of thousands of Angelenos every month, ensuring they have access to healthy meals and a chance to thrive. #FoodBank #HungerAction #MakingADifference #CommunityStrong

The Orange County Sheriff unveiled a new start of the art Technology Center in June to launch the OC Sheriff’s Real Time Operations Center. The 120,000 sf facility will leverage technology to ‘improve public safety and response to critical incidents.’ The facility includes a museum space, training facility, media briefing room, vehicular service bay & shop, employee lounge and fitness center, Real Time Operations Center, Sheriff’s dispatch and Control One, and the Orange County Intelligence Assessment Center.?This building will support multiple agencies throughout Orange County to foster increased collaboration and use of advanced technologies.
